Book design for a self published photographic project telling the tale of a train trip through Siberia. A phone, taped to the window of the transsiberian train is programmed to take a photo every few minutes. 700 images make it into this book, a systematic attempt to sample Russia's landscape. MUTATIONS, ÉTAT I
In April 2022 I was welcomed at Le Signe (National Center for Graphic Design in Chaumont, France) as an artist in residency. My goal there was to pick images from Chaumont's streets and create an alternate version of the city. A version that would emerge from these then manipulated and printed image. The first state of my residency's work took the form of a plexiglas screenprinted book.

For the second part of this project, I invited Sam Diaz, experimental writer to write stories happening inside this weird alter ego of Chaumont. He recieved the plexiglas book and proceeded to write a series of short essays about it. The texts were then reunited with the images in this offset printed publication.
